  • Perception Study & Messaging

    Conducted a perception study to inform place marketing messaging for greater Raleigh and the Triangle region. In partnership with an agency, the study surveyed executives as well as prospective talent across the U.S. The study informed the creation of creative messaging which informed the overall marketing strategy.

  • Copywriting

    Twelve years of writing experience ranging from speech writing for executives, consumer packaged goods, talking points for media interviews, collateral, website copy, social media content, blog posts, press releases, internal employee communications, and crisis communications.

  • Public Relations

    Public relations spokesperson for the Raleigh Chamber. Responsible for developing relationships and pitching stories to local and national media outlets and reporters. Well versed in prep for speaking engagements and appearances.

  • Brand Design

    An intuitive sense for design and brand consistency. I have teamed with award winning graphic designers and brand strategists from around the world. Over the course of my career, I have been blessed to be an active component part of creating and developing well-known national brands.

  • Project Management

    Accountability for managing and organizing teams via the use of project management tools such as Trello, Asana, and multiple internal systems. The art of project management involves alignment to a process, clear communications, role definition, and creativity.

  • COVID Response Communications

    Developed and maintained COVID response communications for staff and members during the pandemic. Communications consisted of development of the website, responsible for 24/7 help email inquiries, updating staff on COVID policies, and advising senior management on policies and communications.

  • Internal Employee Communications

    Development of welcome back booklet to bring staff back to the office. Booklet intent was to provide a warm welcome with information about staying safe in the workplace, current COVID measures in place, and guidance for how to transition back to the office using a hybrid work model.

  • Amazon Headquarter Search

    On the frontlines of Amazon’s second headquarters project and played an active role in marketing and pitching Raleigh, NC as a serious contender. Organized social media campaign, microsite, managed local and national media inquiries, and assisted with pitch deck creation.

  • South By Southwest

    Led a delegation of Raleigh representatives to Austin, Texas, to share the Raleigh story at the South By Southwest trade show. Managed the creation of three campaigns to present in Austin including “Picture Yourself in Raleigh” and “East Coast Made Easy.”

  • New York City Media Tours

    Prepared and conducted two NYC media tours to share several storylines (tech scene, Dorothea Dix Park, etc.) to highlight the Raleigh story. Secured live interviews with Fox, Business Insider, Cheddar, Bloomberg, etc.
